Hello, I’m Nelson Galaxy – glamorous, incredibly good-looking transvestite, London-based, punk-pop troubadour and well-informed, celebrated culture-vulture.
Apart from my genius songwriting and spectacular adventures in sartorial elegance, I also occasionally find time to record some of my songs of love and despair for independent record label Big Arena Records.
I have just finished work on Half Nelson - a stunning mini-album of 7 acoustic numbers. Stripped-down and laid bare, this is me at my rawest, angriest and heart-wrenching best – I think. Several of these compositions will be available in all their boot-stomping glory on my fully electric album which is presently being recorded with my backing band The Donovans of Trash and is due for release in the New Year.
