Exhibition

I am making an exhibition of myself.

That’s right. My portrait will be plastered all over the walls of a trendy central London café bar. The First Out Cafe Bar on Giles High Street (WC2) is exhibiting a collection of images by Northern Stars, the collaboration between photographer Nadia Attura and stylist Laura Steel (Mercury).

On show are a collection of images from their ilove portfolio. There is ilove london girls which showcases lesbian love in London, the new ilove film girls - a homage to Hollywood and the all important, Nelson Galaxy staring, ilove drag - a tribute to Drag Kings and Drag Queens (and a certain tranny punk-popster).

The show opened on the 16th of September and will be available for your viewing please until October 11th. Nadia and Mercury are both amazing and brilliant and their photographs are the stuff of genius. So treat yourself to a cake and a beer or three and admire a giant picture of yours truly.

Does this mean I’m famous?

Has it got an ad for your acoustic album on it?
Has the cafe got a poster on the wall for your acoustic album?
You ought to get down there or get your idle record company to get down there and sort something out swiftish.

Alas, the only publicity for the forthcoming album is a giant print of my face. Maybe I should start busking outside the cafe, but that may frighten people.
