This shall be my last post for a while. I am off up north to stay with Napoleon for a few days. We shall record some podcasts for your aural pleasure. I suspect we may also get a little drunk for our pleasure (well mine, I don’t think Nap enjoys drinking anymore). Keep an ear open on Big Arena Records website for our efforts.
I am looking forward to it. I really need a break and this time we will not be working as hard as usual, therefore I am not quite so stressed and worried. It does not look like the weather is going to be too great – a shame because I really have the urge to sit in a pub beer garden on a sunny afternoon, getting slowly drunk and talking about how great we are. Doing a dance for the pretty barmaids and later crawling home.
I will try and post whilst there but I will most likely be rather hung-over and out of my usual environment. I imagine there will be some drinking stories and encounters with the loony locals that inhabit Napoleon’s village. They always look at me like I am from another planet, in a way I guess I am.
My advice to Napoleon: Iron your drinking trousers and polish your mojo. Oh, and bathe your hairy dog (that’s not a euphemism).
