I’m on a see food diet me. I see food and I eat it. I can eat so much in one sitting I make myself very ill. You would not have thought it by looking at me; I am a ten stone skinny type. Usually, I eat very frugally and healthily. My daily lunch will only consist of a bit of fruit and a carrot. But put something edible and free in front of me and I will try my best to eat it all.
So regretfully, Friday evening involved a work do that took place in an Indian restaurant. I just love Indian food and always over indulge myself. The evening began with a buffet of snacks, such as onion bhajjis and samosas and a lovely prawn thing. I was misinformed and told that this was all the food we were to be provided with. I ate and ate and ate. I was stuffed but felt satisfied.
A short time later I discovered we were now to have a sit down meal. There was no way I was going to opt out of more free food. I proceeded to eat a whole jalfrazi, with rice and nan bread, until I felt extremely sick. I would not leave anything though, oh no. I kept shovelling it down even though my throat refused to accept any more food. Then came the cake, oh no please!
As I sat on the tube at midnight, on the way home, I felt rather unwell; sick and bloated. I needed to lie down and my head felt like it was going to explode. At home I looked in the mirror. My face was bright red and my body was covered in red blotches. My breath was laboured and shallow. My lips were dry and luminous. My eyes could see through lead. I thought I was going to have a heart attack and I was covered in a cold sweat. I went to bed clutching my stomach.
Next morning I had rather severe indigestion and a very unpleasant experience with hot slurry, if you know what I mean. I could murder a curry.

You enjoy yourself, Nelson. See - there is such a thing as a free lunch.
I had a dozen free lunches and put on a stone in weight. Keep the food away from me.
