I love going to stay at Napoleon’s. It is such a brilliant contrast to that London. It’s peaceful and calm. You can walk down the street without having people constantly getting in your way or hassling you for money and fags or even trying to stab you. I know Napoleon is a little bored of living in a small village but I do sometimes envy him. You can look out of his window and see countryside and go on walks and see wildlife and trees and mud. I do get to see my share of birds in London though.
Respect to Napoleon, he does know how to look after his guests. I had some wonderful meals and some good nights out. We spent the majority of our time in the studio, but when not there we relaxed with films and dinners and booze, but no dancing. He even provides breakfast, and a dog to wake you up. It is great to spend time there, without the usual hassles and stresses of London life and work. For the first time in months I could sit down with nothing to worry my little brain except trying to sing in tune. Do miss you Nap and hopefully I will be back soon.
However, as my dear old mother always says, “It’s nice to go away but it’s always good to get back.” The first thing I did when I got back to London was pluck my eyebrows, have a bath, shave my legs, open a bottle of wine and dress like a lady. Now that’s better.

Glad you enjoyed yourself, old chum.
Thanks for having me mad dog.
Don’t you just love getting into bed after you’ve just shaved your legs?
I love how smooth they feel.
Big sighhhhh.
You are totally correct Jo - an amazing feeling. I feel sorry for anyone that doesn’t shave their legs.
