Continental Shift

I had some really sad news last night. One of my closest, bestest friends is moving to Canada. She will be missed so much, unbelievably so. I understand why, London can be rubbish. I’d rather be in Canada, wrestling bears and kissing salmon.

She is one of those people who can make you feel good about yourself even if you are in a dark dark place. She makes me feel like life is worth living and I’m a good person. She has a special power, like a character from Heroes, the power to make you feel good. Everything seems better and brighter around her. And she can read stupidly quickly, a book a day!

Here’s what she wrote in my birthday card: “You’re the coolest tranny rock star I know.”

I do hope you will be happy and please stay in touch.

I’m just sick and tired of saying goodbye to the people I love.
