Just the other day myself and my esteemed colleague Pip paid a visit to Tate Modern’s Turbine Hall. We’d heard about the new art installation consisting of a big gash in the floor of the gallery’s main hall. We were refused entry to the actual hall by a bulldog-faced security guard. We snuck in a side entrance and viewed the crack from above.
It is a crack.
I don’t get it!!!!
The good news is that someone has since fallen into the gaping hole and hurt themselves.
Good.
Is this art?

I too saw the crack and couldn’t see the point in it.
I guess neither of us know our art from our a*se. I do like the spider though - I stand under it hoping it’ll drop an egg on my head.
